On Sunday, we will have breakfast together, then do one more outdoor session before going our separate ways; hopefully with a handful of new friends; a memory card full of images; and loads of inspiration!
*All skill levels with a desire to learn are welcome! Anyone with a fairly newer smart phone all the way up to the most advanced high end mirrorless camera user can do this. Also, bring your imagination!
David Valdez has been taking pictures of toys for over ten years. In that time he's developed a respectable following on social media, and his creative work has been featured by Hasbro, LEGO, Entertainment Weekly and many more. He enjoys all aspects of the art including building dioramas, custom figure creation, 3D modeling and 3D printing.
Jay Grammond has been a Toy Photographer for two years. He organized the first Toy Photography session in 2022 during the Black Hills Photo Shootout, introducing many people to Toy Photography! After this, he organized a stand alone Toy Photography Workshop which was held in the Sioux Falls, SD area. These Toy Photography opportunities are perhaps the first in the Upper Midwest!
